Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government has officially launched the statewide ‘Sushasan Tihar 2025’—a mega good governance festival aimed at directly engaging with citizens and resolving their grievances effectively. The initiative commenced on April 8 and will be conducted in three phases, continuing until May 31.
Phase 1: Citizens Submit Applications Directly
From April 8 to April 11, the first phase of Sushasan Tihar focuses on accepting direct applications from citizens at gram panchayats and urban local body offices. Enthusiasm is high as residents across the state are submitting their concerns into designated “Samadhan Petis” (solution boxes). Dedicated officers and staff have been deployed at these locations to assist applicants in filing their grievances without inconvenience.
In addition to in-person applications, citizens can also submit their grievances through an online portal and Common Service Centers (CSCs). Solution boxes have also been placed at block and district headquarters to maximize public access.
Promoting Transparency and Responsiveness
Sushasan Tihar is a part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency and good governance. Applications collected during the campaign will be digitally entered into a software system and forwarded to the concerned departments. The goal is to resolve each issue within one month of submission.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that the core aim of Sushasan Tihar 2025 is to ensure quick and effective resolution of citizen grievances, establish transparency in administrative work, and foster direct communication between the government and the public. He has already instructed all district collectors to ensure proper organization and prompt redressal of all issues submitted during the campaign. A review of both the resolution status and quality will be conducted at both state and district levels.
Phase 3: Resolution Camps Across Rural and Urban Areas
In the third phase of the initiative, resolution camps will be organized in 8 to 15 gram panchayats of each district. Similar camps will be held in urban local bodies as required. These camps will serve as platforms for updating citizens on the status of their applications and attempting immediate redressal of their concerns. Any remaining grievances will be resolved within a month, and updates will be communicated to the applicants.
During these camps, information about welfare schemes will be provided, and forms for beneficiary-oriented programs will be made available. Active participation from MPs, MLAs, and other public representatives is being ensured. Chief Minister Sai, cabinet ministers, the Chief Secretary, and senior officials will personally attend camps, interact with citizens, collect feedback on developmental initiatives, and conduct surprise inspections to assess the quality and progress of ongoing construction projects.
