Naxals Surrender In Chhattisgarh: The Chhattisgarh government has achieved another major success in its decisive campaign against Naxalism. On Monday, 26 hardcore Naxalites surrendered before security forces in Dantewada district, marking a significant endorsement of the state’s new Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy – 2025.
Chief Minister Congratulates Security Forces
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the security personnel on this occasion and said: “Our resolution to completely eliminate Naxalism is achieving continuous success.”
He credited the success to the state’s initiatives like ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana’ and ‘Lone Varratu Campaign’, which are playing a key role in bringing tribal youth back into the mainstream.

Impact of Central Government’s Policy
The Chief Minister also stated that the announcement by Union Home Minister Amit Shah to provide ₹1 crore as special assistance to villages declared Naxal-free is now yielding positive results.
He emphasized that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Home Minister, the state government is committed to making Chhattisgarh completely free from Naxal terror by March 31, 2026. “This is not just a campaign; it is a mission for peace, security, and prosperity in Chhattisgarh,” Sai said.
Surrender Policy Proving Successful
The state’s Rehabilitation Policy – 2025 is successfully providing an opportunity for former Naxalites to return to the mainstream and lead a respectful life in society. Those who surrendered will now be offered social rehabilitation and necessary support.
