Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday released the official poster and calendar of the upcoming Shri Ramkatha programme during a courtesy meeting with representatives of the Pyare Shri Radhakrishna Sanskar Manch, Jamul. The event took place at his residence office, where the delegation extended a formal invitation to the Chief Minister for the ten-day spiritual gathering.
The Sanskar Manch informed the Chief Minister that Shri Ramkatha will be held from December 28, 2025, to January 6, 2026, in Jamul of Durg district. Accepting the invitation warmly, Sai conveyed his good wishes for the success of the programme and appreciated the efforts of the organisers in promoting spiritual values and cultural traditions.
Representatives present during the meeting included Patron Dileshwar Umre, Convenor Ishwar Upadhyay, along with Jageshwar Mal Soni, Umesh Nirmalkar, Neit Ram Sahu, Jitendra Sahu, Indrajeet Upadhyay and Vaibhav Upadhyay among others.
CM Meets Halba–Halbi Delegation
Soon after, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai also met a delegation from the Chhattisgarh Halba–Halbi community, who briefed him about their upcoming cultural and social events.
The community representatives shared that their annual social convention and Shakti Diwas celebrations will take place on December 27, 2025, at Pulgaon in Durg. They also informed the Chief Minister that the 201st martyrdom day of the revolutionary freedom fighter Gend Singh will be observed on January 20, 2026, in Raipur.

Inviting him to both events, the delegation highlighted the historical significance of Gend Singh’s legacy and the cultural vibrancy of the community.
Shri Sai thanked them for the invitation and praised the Halba–Halbi community for preserving cultural heritage and inspiring future generations. He extended his best wishes for the success of both programmes.
Senior community members present included Mahesh Gagda, Dr Devendra Mahla, Girivar Thakur, Hriday Ram Kosma and Mithir Ram Salendra, along with other respected members of the community.
