On the auspicious occasion of Param Pujya Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji’s birth anniversary, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday inaugurated a five-day free Mega Health Camp 2025 in the state capital Raipur. The camp is being organised from December 18 to December 22 at the Ayurvedic College campus, with a focus on human service, social harmony and health awareness.
Extending greetings to the people of the state on Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji’s birth anniversary, CM Vishnu Deo Sai wished peace, prosperity and well-being for all. He said the five-day free mega health camp would prove to be a health lifeline for thousands of people. The Chief Minister noted that Chhattisgarh has entered its silver jubilee year, and over the last 25 years, the state has made remarkable progress in healthcare and other sectors.
Referring to the Ayushman Bharat scheme being implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said the programme is ensuring quality healthcare services to the last person in society. He added that under the Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana, the state government is providing financial assistance of up to ₹25 lakh for the treatment of serious illnesses.
Emphasising that “Health is Wealth” is not merely a slogan but a commitment to save and improve lives, CM Sai congratulated MLA Rajesh Munat and his entire team for organising the mega event and also visited various diagnostic and treatment stalls at the camp venue.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said the mega health camp organised on Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji’s birth anniversary is extremely beneficial for all sections of society.
He informed that a large number of people from Chhattisgarh as well as neighbouring states have arrived to avail healthcare services. Patients who cannot be treated at the camp will be provided free treatment at affiliated institutions through Ayushman cards, he said, reiterating the state government’s commitment to continuous expansion of healthcare services under the leadership of CM Vishnu Deo Sai.
Programme organiser and MLA Rajesh Munat said the mega health camp has been organised inspired by Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji’s eternal message, “Manakhe-Manakhe Ek Samaan” (All human beings are equal).
He stated that all major medical disciplines have been made available under one roof, with X-ray, ECG, sonography and various diagnostic tests, along with essential medicines, provided completely free of cost.
