Peddi made a worldwide gross of Rs 112.49 crore in its initial reported figures, before surpassing the Rs 135 crore mark globally on its opening day. The strong opening has made Peddi Ram Charan’s second-highest opener after RRR (2022), directed by SS Rajamouli.
In the domestic market, Peddi earned Rs 51 crore net across 12,412 shows on its first day. The film’s performance translated into total India gross collections of Rs 82.49 crore, while its India net collections stood at Rs 69.50 crore.
This brings total India gross collections to Rs 82.49 crore and total India net collections to Rs 69.50 crore so far. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring a musical score by AR Rahman, the film is a rural sports drama which follows a spirited villager striving to unite his community through sports and defend their pride against a powerful rival.
Sana had earlier written the story and worked as an assistant director on Charan’s 2018 hit Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar. Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor, it is Kapoor’s second Telugu film.
The film is co-produced under IVY Entertainment and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings and cinematography is handled by R. Ratnavelu, while Navin Nooli serves as the editor.

AR Rahman Composes Music for the Film
