The Ram Charan-led sports action drama Peddi has crossed the Rs 315 crore mark at the worldwide box office within five days of its theatrical release. The latest collection figures were shared by the film’s production banner, Vriddhi Cinemas, on Tuesday.
According to the production house, the film earned Rs 135.36 crore on its opening day, setting the tone for a robust box office run.
The film continued its momentum over the opening weekend, collecting Rs 236.7 crore globally during its first three days in cinemas. The sustained performance helped the movie register significant earnings across domestic and international markets.

Earlier the movie received backlash from the audience over potrayal female figures in Peddi. In response, Director Buchi Babu Sana has issued a public apology and confirmed that changes will be made to certain scenes in his latest film Peddi after criticism emerged regarding objectification of Jhanvi Kapoor.

Director Buchi Babu Sana crafts an emotional narrative set against the backdrop of 1980s Andhra Pradesh, while AR Rahman’s music enhances key moments. Though familiar in parts, the film succeeds through its strong performances, visuals, and uplifting spirit.
The film recorded a decline in occupancy from 45.5% on opening day to 32.8% on Day 2. Despite the dip, Peddi maintained its lead at the box office across multiple territories and continued to outperform new theatrical releases during the same period.
