Sushasan Tihar Concludes in Chhattisgarh | What CM Vishnu Deo Sai Said | Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday issued a clarion call for building a “Developed Chhattisgarh” during a high-level review meeting held in Dhamtari. The CM described the newly drafted vision document as a clear roadmap toward progress, urging officials to work with dedication and responsibility to turn this vision into results.
Marking the conclusion of the Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), CM Sai emphasized that public grievance redressal should remain a continuous process. “Dialogue with citizens and resolving their problems must go on relentlessly,” he said. The CM directed officials to adopt innovative approaches for problem-solving and stressed that delayed justice is no justice at all.
He also highlighted that errors in land revenue records are often due to lapses by government staff, yet the burden falls on the public. He called for promoting digital governance in the revenue department and emphasized time management and sensitivity in public dealings. “Active tehsildars ensure fewer pending cases,” he added, encouraging a courteous and efficient work culture.
Focus on Flagship Schemes and Tourism Potential
CM Sai directed officials to prioritize the flagship schemes of both Centre and State governments, including the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, and the Jal Jeevan Mission. He proudly stated that Chhattisgarh ranks second nationally for effective implementation of the crop insurance scheme.

He further noted that in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directives during the NITI Aayog meeting, the state will explore tourism development opportunities in Raipur and Dhamtari districts.
Underscoring the importance of human development, at the conclusion of the Sushasan Tihar, the Chief Minister instructed officials to raise the quality of school education. He cited the example of Dantewada, where strong leadership by the DEO led to improved Class 10 and 12 results — a feat praised by the Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat address.
The CM also emphasized continuous monitoring of the health sector and ensuring the availability of resources. In agriculture-centric Dhamtari and Raipur, he called for preparations for Kharif season and integration of modern technology for farmers.
Delivering Benefits to the Last Mile
CM Sai asserted that no eligible beneficiary should be left out of government schemes. He encouraged officials to communicate challenges in meeting departmental targets so the State can provide necessary support. “Every district’s performance is under constant review — I have their report cards,” he added.
