The Government of Chhattisgarh has announced grand Rajyotsav celebrations across all district headquarters on the occasion of the State Foundation Day 2025. Each district will host festive events featuring Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) as Chief Guests, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s rich culture, unity, and development journey.
The Rajyotsav programs will feature folk performances, traditional dances, handicraft exhibitions, and tableaux representing local industries and development schemes. Visitors will also enjoy stalls highlighting state achievements and welfare initiatives.
Officials said the celebrations will be organised with public participation and ceremonial grandeur, reflecting Chhattisgarh’s journey of culture, progress, and unity.
“This Rajyotsav is not just a celebration of statehood, but a tribute to Chhattisgarh’s people and their vision of prosperity,” a government spokesperson said.
Marking 25 Years of Statehood

According to the official list released by the state government, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will preside over the Rajnandgaon celebration, while Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam will lead the Surguja event.
