In a major development for Chhattisgarh’s industrial growth, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Greentech Solutions Director M. Prasad Reddy in Mumbai, where the company proposed a Rs 1,245 crore investment to establish an integrated steel plant in the state.
The project is expected to generate over 500 direct jobs, contributing significantly to employment and economic development in the region.
Greentech Solutions, a company recognized for its focus on green technologies and sustainable industrial practices, expressed strong confidence in Chhattisgarh’s pro-business environment. During the meeting, Reddy highlighted the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30 as a major incentive for the investment. “Chhattisgarh’s new Industrial Policy 2024–30 was a key motivator behind our decision to invest in the region,” said Reddy.

Chief Minister Sai warmly welcomed the proposal, affirming his government’s commitment to promoting private sector investments. He outlined key features of the state’s industrial support system, including a single-window clearance system, robust industrial infrastructure, and special incentives for green industries.“This investment aligns with our vision to build a balanced, environment-friendly industrial ecosystem while promoting large-scale employment and economic development,” said the Chief Minister.
The Rs 1,245 crore project is expected to boost the state’s industrial diversification efforts and contribute to a greener economy, in line with Chhattisgarh’s long-term sustainable development goals.
