Bollywood’s iconic pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, are reportedly reuniting for their fifth on-screen collaboration in the upcoming film ‘King’, which also marks the Bollywood debut of Suhana Khan.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Deepika has confirmed her participation in the Siddharth Anand-directed film after her schedule finally aligned with the shoot. A source stated, “Shah Rukh Khan was always clear to have Deepika Padukone on board ‘King’… Due to a delay in the schedule of ‘King’, the timelines are aligned, and she is back on board the film.”
Contrary to earlier reports of a cameo, Padukone will play a full-length role. “It’s a full-length role, and a lot more than just a cameo as reported before,” another insider confirmed. The actress will start filming in the second half of 2025, with the movie set for release in the second half of 2026.
