The romantic drama Saiyaara, marking the Bollywood debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has reached its 15th day in theaters, recording its lowest single-day earnings of Rs 4.25 crore on August 1, 2025, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. Despite this dip, the Mohit Suri-directed film continues its impressive run, amassing a total India net collection of Rs 284.75 crore and surpassing Rs 440 crore worldwide. The film’s success, driven by its emotional narrative and chart-topping title track, has solidified Ahaan Panday’s debut as one of Bollywood’s most triumphant launches in recent years.
Record-Breaking Run Amidst New Competition
Saiyaara has outperformed several iconic Bollywood films, including Kabir Singh (Rs 278 crore), Tiger 3 (Rs 276 crore), Dhoom 3 (Rs 271 crore), and Brahmastra Part One (Rs 241 crore), and is now on the verge of overtaking Kalki AD 2898 (Rs 293 crore) and Sultan (Rs 300 crore). The film’s occupancy on Day 15 averaged 19.42%, with morning shows at 11.89%, afternoon shows at 19.15%, evening shows at 20.24%, and night shows peaking at 26.40%. Despite the drop in daily earnings, the film’s strong performance in the face of new releases like Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 highlights its enduring appeal. The strategic decision to delay Son of Sardaar 2’s release to avoid clashing with Saiyaara underscores the latter’s dominance at the box office.

In contrast, Shanaya Kapoor’s debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan earned a mere Rs 1.77 crore, underscoring Saiyaara’s exceptional success for a newcomer-led film. “Among recent debuts in Bollywood, Ahaan Panday’s launch has proven to be one of the most successful,” noted industry tracker Sacnilk. The film’s emotional depth, coupled with Mohit Suri’s direction and Yash Raj Films’ production, has resonated with audiences, making Saiyaara a standout hit of 2025.
