Several fans have begun suggesting replacements, including actors Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Mrunal Thakur. Opinions on Deepika’s performance in the first film also resurfaced, with some users calling her acting “emotionless.”
Deepika’s exit follows her earlier withdrawal from Prabhas’ upcoming film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Reports suggested differences over working conditions, including her alleged demand for shorter workdays, profit sharing, and dialogue preferences. She was later replaced by Triptii Dimri in that project.
