Sonali Bendre, who is busy talking about her new show , recently shared some tough memories from her early days in the movies. In an interview with Hauterrfly, she talked about how producers used to criticize her body.
“When I started in the movies, they didn’t want actresses to be very thin like they do now. Producers would always tell me to eat more because they thought I was too skinny. They wanted women with curves, but I had straight hair and was thin,” Sonali revealed.
Talking about her journey in Bollywood, Sonali admitted that she never felt like she was doing great in her career. She felt nervous and unprepared because she wasn’t trained as an actor or dancer when she entered the industry. “I was just learning as I went along, and that made me nervous. I never really enjoyed the journey,” she said.
Sonali Bendre is known for her roles in popular movies like Sarfarosh and Hum Saath Saath Hain. She also appeared as a judge on TV shows like India’s Best Draamebaaz and Dance India Dance Little Masters.
