Internet sensation, Youtuber Abhradeep Saha aka Angry Rantman, dies at 27

Renowned Youtuber Abhradeep Saha aka Angry Rantman passed away on April 16. Angry Rantman became popular overnight after his video on Chelsea Football Club got viral on internet. Netizens are gutted and the Indian Youtubers community was shattered after the demise of the young man.

Angry Rantman underwent a heart surgery and had multiple organ failure. He succumbed to complications triggered by the surgery he underwent last month.

On April 14, a Youtube community shared the 27-year old’s health update, informing fans about his critical situation. They wrote “He is in a really critical situation with life saving support System, Pray for a Faster Recovery. Your Faithfully Soumyadeep Saha.”

The content creator whose rose to fame for his passionate rants and analyses of soccer, cricket, other sports and films, died on April 16, his family announced.

“With profound grief and sorrow, we hereby declare the sad and untimely demise of Abhradeep Saha AKA #AngryRantman today at 10:18 hrs IST,” his family said in a statement posted on his social media accounts. “He touched the lives of millions with his Honesty, humour and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.”

“As we mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and hold on to the cherished memories we share together. Inspiring change one rant at a time,” the family added.

Many professional soccer teams shared their heartfelt condolences and tributes to the young Youtuber who was a hardcore soccer fan.

“The BFC family is saddened to learn about the passing of #IndianFootball faithful Abhradeep Saha,” Bengaluru FC wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “A West Block Blue through and through, Abhradeep’s love for the game knew no bounds and the passion in his rants will be missed. Rest in peace. #WeAreBFC #ForeverBlue.”

Kerala Blasters FC also wrote, “Today, we mourn the loss of one of the most enthusiastic and passionate voices in Indian football. We will dearly miss his memorable rants and love for the beautiful game.”
