The Jharkhand government is gearing up to celebrate the state’s 25th Foundation Day on November 15, 2025, on a grand scale. Vandana Dadel said that the Foundation Day celebrations will commence from November 11, with a series of events organized across districts, blocks, panchayats, schools, and colleges. The week-long celebration will culminate in a grand ceremony at Morarji Desai Ground (Moranbadi), Ranchi, on November 15.
On the main day, the government will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various welfare and development schemes, marking the completion of 25 years since Jharkhand’s formation.
Focus on Comprehensive and Time-Bound Preparation
During her inspection of the Morahabadi Ground venue, Dadel instructed officials to ensure that all arrangements are completed meticulously and on schedule. She emphasized that no lapses will be tolerated in preparations related to the event.
She directed officials to work efficiently on multiple fronts — including stage setup, security, traffic management, sanitation, power supply, hospitality, cultural programs, exhibitions, parking, and emergency services.

The Principal Secretary also reviewed critical aspects such as stage construction, seating arrangements, security barricading, entry and exit gates, reception areas, media centre, and medical facilities, giving specific instructions for seamless coordination.
Senior Officials Overseeing Coordination
Several senior officials accompanied Dadel during the inspection, including Amitabh Kaushal (Secretary, Commercial Taxes), Kripanand Jha (Secretary, Welfare Department), Rahul Kumar Sinha (Director, Mines), Kuldeep Chaudhary (Tribal Welfare Commissioner), Rajeev Lochan Bakshi (Special Secretary and Director, IPRD), and Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, along with other senior administrative officers of Ranchi district.
The review meeting focused on ensuring that every department works in close coordination to deliver a flawless, safe, and memorable celebration of Jharkhand’s Silver Jubilee Foundation Day.
