The makers of Dhurandhar have released the teaser for the film’s much-awaited sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, officially setting the stage for the conclusion of Aditya Dhar’s high-stakes spy franchise.
Released on Tuesday afternoon, the teaser marks Ranveer Singh’s return as Jaskirat, also known as Hamza, a character whose journey began in the first film and now moves towards a decisive end.

The teaser offers a brief but intense glimpse into Hamza’s continued infiltration of the criminal underworld, with violent imagery underscoring the cost of his mission. Set against the backdrop of Lyari, the visuals hint at escalating conflict as Hamza tightens his grip from within.
Familiar faces, including Sanjay Dutt appear in fleeting shots, reinforcing the ensemble nature of the franchise as it heads into its final chapter.
Viewers Divided Over the Teaser Cut
While the teaser immediately grabbed attention, online reactions were sharply split. A section of viewers expressed disappointment, pointing out that the footage closely resembles what was previously shown during the end credits of the first Dhurandhar.
Others, however, welcomed the restrained approach, arguing that withholding fresh footage helps preserve the theatrical experience and keeps the plot under wraps ahead of release.

Earlier in the day, Ranveer Singh revealed the official title and first-look poster of the film. The image shows the actor standing in heavy rain, bathed in red light — a visual cue to the violent reckoning awaiting his character.
Along with the poster, the actor confirmed that Dhurandhar: The Revenge will release worldwide on March 19, 2026, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
A Franchise That Redefined the Spy Thriller
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar debuted in December and followed an Indian spy’s covert operation inside Karachi’s criminal ecosystem and its links to terror networks.
The film went on to become one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time, earning over ₹1,300 crore globally, and cementing its place as a modern blockbuster. With the sequel positioned as the saga’s conclusion, expectations remain exceptionally high.
