Actor Urvashi Rautela has been hospitalised in Hyderabad after sustaining an injury on the sets of her upcoming film NBK 109. The incident occurred while she was filming a high-octane action sequence, leading to a “terrible fracture”, as confirmed by her team. She is currently receiving medical treatment at a facility in Hyderabad.
NBK 109, directed by Bobby Kolli, also stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, and Dulquer Salmaan. The film, which began production in November 2023, is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema, with Thaman S handling the music composition. The first look poster was released last month on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s birthday.

The addition of Bobby Deol to the cast was announced in April, with the director expressing excitement over his inclusion. The film is currently in production and is slated for release later this year.
Meanwhile, the release plans for Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film Lucky Baskhar with director Venky Atluri have been revised. Initially slated for release on September 27, the film will now hit the screens earlier, on September 7.

Lucky Baskhar marks Dulquer’s third venture in Telugu cinema following Mahanati (2018) and Sita Ramam (2022). The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and features music by GV Prakash Kumar. Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer, and Navin Nooli is the editor. The movie is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Venky Atluri’s previous work includes Vaathi/Sir, starring Dhanush and Samyuktha. Alongside Lucky Baskhar, Dulquer Salmaan is also working on Kaantha, a film he is co-producing with actor Rana Daggubati.
