Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s horror-comedy Stree 2 continues to defy expectations at the box office, proving to be an unstoppable force. Even after a month in theaters, the film shows no signs of slowing down, consistently drawing in audiences and maintaining its hold over the box office.
Its outstanding performance is a testament to the film’s widespread appeal, with many viewers opting for repeat viewings. This ongoing success is rapidly propelling Stree 2 toward the Rs 600 crore mark, a milestone that only a select few films achieve.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Stree 2 collected Rs 3 crore on its 33rd day, with projections suggesting a potential increase. The film’s fifth-week performance has been impressive, especially over the weekend.
On the first day of its fifth week, it raked in Rs 3.35 crore, followed by Rs 5.4 crore on the second day, and Rs 6.75 crore on the third. This brings its total net collection to Rs 557.85 crore. Its gross total in India now stands at Rs 684.98 crore, while the worldwide gross has reached an impressive Rs 819.28 crore, as per Bollywood Hungama.
With no major releases this week, except for Kareena Kapoor Khan’s The Buckingham Murders, Stree 2 is poised to benefit from the lack of competition and inch closer to the Rs 600 crore milestone.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The addition of special appearances by Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan, and a cameo by Akshay Kumar further boosts its appeal. In contrast, Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders has struggled at the box office despite positive reviews, earning only Rs 75 lakh on its fourth day, bringing its net total to Rs 6 crore.
The sustained success of Stree 2 is driven by its positive word-of-mouth and critical acclaim. The film’s engaging storyline and well-crafted narrative have struck a chord with viewers, leading to repeated showings and strong recommendations. Its impressive performance has firmly established Stree 2 as one of the most successful films of the year.
By redefining the horror-comedy genre and setting new benchmarks for the industry, Stree 2 is on track to join the exclusive Rs 600 crore club alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which earned Rs 643.87 crore.
