As winter intensifies across northern India, temperatures continue to plummet, prompting authorities in Noida and other parts of the region to take precautionary measures. The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration has ordered the suspension of classes up to Grade 8 in all schools until further notice.
In a directive issued on January 2, District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar addressed school principals, stating that the harsh winter and dense fog make travel hazardous for students.
Acting on the directions of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, the administration advised all schools to remain closed until conditions improve.
