Actress Krishna Mukherjee, renowned for her role in the hit series “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,” recently took to Instagram to reveal distressing experiences during the shooting of her last show “Shubh Shagun,” opposite Shehzada Dhami.
In a heartfelt post, Mukherjee disclosed her battle with depression and anxiety, attributing it to her time on the set where she alleged she faced harassment and non-payment of dues by the show’s producer.
Expressing her ordeal, Krishna wrote, “I never had the courage to speak my heart out but today I decided not to hold it back anymore. I am going through tough times, and the last one and a half years were not at all easy for me.”
She pointed out that her struggles began during the filming of “Shubh Shagun,” a decision she regrets making, influenced by others’ advice.

Detailing her grievances, Krishna accused the production house and producer Kundan Singh of repeated harassment. She recounted an incident where, while unwell, she was allegedly locked inside her makeup room for refusing to shoot due to non-payment and her health condition.
Mukherjee emphasized that despite her efforts to resolve the issues by visiting the production house and Dangal TV office, her concerns were ignored.

Moreover, Krishna Mukherjee highlighted the financial strain caused by unpaid dues, spanning five months, and expressed fear and insecurity for her safety on the sets of ‘Shubh Shagun’.
“I felt unsafe, broken, and scared throughout,” she stated, shedding light on the psychological toll of the experience. Mukherjee’s plea for justice resonated with her followers as she questioned her reluctance to take on new projects out of fear of recurrence.
