This development comes amid heightened conflict between the two nations following India’s retaliatory strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan. The action was in response to the deadly April 22 attack in Pahalgam, reportedly backed by Pakistan-based terrorists, which resulted in 26 casualties.
Arijit Singh had recently also cancelled another concert in Chennai due to the same concerns. A note shared on his Instagram Stories from the event organisers informed fans of the Chennai show’s cancellation.
As tensions continue to impact public gatherings, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates about the new concert date and potential changes to the singer’s tour schedule.
