Akshay Kumar returns to theatres with Welcome to the Jungle. The comedy entertainer features one of the industry’s largest ensemble casts, with 33 actors appearing in the film.
Alongside Akshay Kumar, the cast includes Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and several others.

Advance bookings for Welcome to the Jungle have opened on a moderate note, with ticket sales gaining momentum as the release date approaches. Trade observers believe that the franchise’s established fan base and audience nostalgia could contribute to stronger opening-day collections if positive word-of-mouth develops after release.
Film trade analyst Komal Nahta described the advance booking trend as satisfactory without being exceptional. Speaking to SCREEN, he said the bookings are “looking alright,” adding that while they are not extraordinary, they are also not disappointing.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Welcome to the Jungle earned an estimated Rs 1.74 crore nett in India by 12 pm on its first day of release. The early figures reflect collections from morning and initial afternoon shows, with additional screenings expected to contribute to the overall total later in the day.
The film’s India gross collection stood at approximately Rs 2.05 crore by noon. With a wide theatrical release, the comedy has secured a significant presence across multiplexes and single-screen cinemas, giving it the opportunity to attract audiences through the remainder of the day.
Welcome to the Jungle is currently being screened in 3,633 shows across India. The extensive release allows the film to reach viewers in multiple regions, while evening and night screenings are expected to play an important role in determining its opening-day performance.
Industry observers will continue tracking the film’s box office trend as more shows conclude. Since the reported figures represent collections only until midday, the final Day 1 earnings are expected to increase after accounting for evening and late-night ticket sales.

#WelcomeToTheJungle is strictly for the audiences who enjoy nonsensical, illogical and FORCED COMEDY… Those expecting anything beyond that would be left disappointed — I was mentally exhausted in the second half, lol!
