Sophia Leone, a 26-year-old adult film star, tragically passed away after being discovered “unresponsive” at her US apartment on March 1, revealed her stepfather Mike Romero on Saturday.
Romero took to GoFundMe to seek support for her memorial, detailing the heartbreaking discovery made by her family on March 1.

“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of our beloved Sophia’s passing on behalf of her mother and family,” Romero expressed. “The sudden loss of Sophia has left us all in disbelief and anguish. Amidst our grieving and quest for justice, we are also confronted with unexpected financial challenges,” he added.
Romero mentioned that local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Sophia Leone’s death.
In addition, her modelling agency, 101 Modeling, confirmed the news of her death and said Sophia was a cherished member of their community. They clarified that the death of Sophia Leone was not a result of suicide but was being treated as a “home invasion homicide”.
“A radiant soul who touched many lives. Rest in peace, dear angel, and know you were dearly loved. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to assist her family during this difficult time,” 101 Modeling shared in a statement.
