New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Jail ka Jawab, Vote se’ campaign continued in protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In this series, AAP volunteers ran this campaign from East Delhi in Laxmi Nagar on Saturday. Wearing ‘AAP’ caps on their heads and holding banners, the volunteers made the public aware of the BJP’s conspiracy behind sending the CM behind bars.
The party said that Arvind Kejriwal who has provided many free facilities in Delhi, including electricity, water, education, health, bus travel to women, has been implicated in a fake case by the BJP and put in jail. The people of Delhi have understood the conspiracy of the BJP and are fully prepared to give answer to the arrest with their votes (Jail ka Jawab, Vote se) on 25th May.
The AAP candidate from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat Kuldeep Kumar said that we gathered under the foot overbridge of Laxmi Nagar and launched the campaign ‘Jail Ka Jawab Se Vote’ in protest against the arrest of the Chief Minister. The people of Delhi have stood together for Arvind Kejriwal. He has built excellent schools for millions of children of Delhi, built hospitals and Mohalla clinics for the people, provided free bus travel facility to women; electricity and water bills of Delhiites reduced to zero. The CM has also announced to give Rs 1000 to every woman of Delhi, every month. But the BJP implicated such a Chief Minister in a fake case and put him in jail.
Kumar further stated that Sarath Chandra Reddy donated Rs 60 crore to the BJP. On the testimony of Sarath Reddy, Delhi’s popular Chief Minister was put in jail. The people of Delhi have now understood the conspiracy of the BJP and are ready to answer the arrest of the CM by voting on 25th May. The people of Delhi will respond to the dictatorship in which the BJP is trying to topple the Delhi government.
On the road show of Chief Minister’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, Kumar said that her road show is starting from today. She will seek support from the people of Delhi and will get the blessings of the people of Delhi. If people join this rally in large numbers, she will get the strength to fight against this dictatorship. Therefore, people of Delhi should come out in large numbers and support us in fighting against the dictatorship of the BJP, he concluded.
