‘Get ready’ Vijay Sethupathi fans: We have a good news for you!

Exciting news for Vijay Sethupathi fans: the trailer release date for his milestone 50th film, “Maharaja,” has been announced.

The trailer will be unveiled on Thursday at 5 pm. Vijay Sethupathi shared this news on Instagram, along with two intense posters in English and Tamil. In the posters, he is depicted in a checkered shirt, holding a blood-stained razor with blood on his face and hands.

He captioned the post, “The wait is almost over. Get ready to witness the world of Maharaja tomorrow at 5 PM. Maharaja Trailer Tomorrow. Written and directed by Nithilan Swaminathan.”

The film “Maharaja” also stars filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Abhirami. Anurag Kashyap shared the poster on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “It’s loading.”

Last September, the first look poster of Vijay Sethupathi in “Maharaja” was revealed. The poster showed him sitting on a barber’s chair with a blood-stained sickle in hand, his face bearing cuts and bruises, and a wounded ear. Police officers can be seen looking at him through a broken wall in the background. The first-look poster was tagged with “Maharaja first look.”

At the time of the first-look release, Anurag Kashyap congratulated Vijay Sethupathi on his 50th film, expressing his honor and delight to be part of the project. He conveyed his congratulations to the entire team, including Passion Studios, Nithilan Swaminathan, Mamta Mohandas, and Abhirami, and wished them all the best.

Vijay Sethupathi’s most recent film before “Maharaja” was “Merry Christmas,” where he starred alongside Katrina Kaif.
