Peddi starring Ram Charan, Jahnvi Kapoor, Shivaraj Kumar has collected over 290 Rs crore at the global box office at the end of its opening weekend in theatres. The sports action drama released across cinemas in India on Thursday and marked a strong opening performance worldwide.
The film opened with a global gross of ₹135.36 crore on Day 1. It followed with ₹46.44 crore on Day 2 and ₹54.9 crore on Day 3. On Day 4, the film added another ₹55.8 crore gross, taking the total to over ₹290 crore worldwide at the end of its opening weekend run.

The film recorded a decline in occupancy from 45.5% on opening day to 32.8% on Day 2. Despite the dip, Peddi maintained its lead at the box office across multiple territories and continued to outperform new theatrical releases during the same period.
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai starring Varun Dhawan and directed by David Dhawan earned ₹7.50 crore nett on Day 1 across 9,081 shows. Its India gross stood at ₹9 crore, with an additional ₹2 crore gross from overseas markets, taking its global total to ₹11 crore.
Earlier Peddi movie received backlash from the audience over sensationalisation of Jhanvi Kapoor and the film’s director announced that the revision of scenes will be made by the production team.

Opening Figures for Bandar
Bandar, featuring Bobby Deol, opened to ₹50 lakh nett on Day 1 across 1,365 shows. The film recorded an India gross of ₹60 lakh on its opening day, marking a modest start at the box office.
