Mohammed Siraj urges the paparazzi to stop spreading rumours about dating Mahira Sharma

On Friday, Mahira Sharma took to her Instagram Stories to shut down the speculation, writing, “Stop spreading rumours, I’m not dating anyone.”

Shortly before Mahira’s post, Siraj also denied the rumors in an Instagram statement, which he later deleted. He wrote, “I request paparazzi to stop asking questions around me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends.”

Speculation about the alleged relationship gained momentum when Mahira attended an event in Mumbai on March 20, just ahead of the IPL 2025 season. Paparazzi tried to probe the connection by asking Mahira about her IPL team preferences, fueling rumors of a link to Siraj.

The dating rumors initially began circulating when fans noticed that Siraj had liked Mahira’s Instagram post. Soon after, both started following each other on social media, which only intensified the fan speculation.

An ETimes report further fueled the gossip, citing anonymous sources who claimed the two were “romantically involved” and had been quietly dating for months while getting to know each other.

However, both Mohammed Siraj, a key player for India’s national cricket team and the IPL, and Mahira Sharma, known for her stint in Bigg Boss and various TV shows, have now publicly clarified their stance, calling the rumors baseless and false.
