Nagpur Looteri Dulhan Arrest | In a startling development from Nagpur, Maharashtra Police have arrested a woman identified as Sameera Fatima, who allegedly posed as a bride to marry eight men over the past 15 years and extort large sums of money from them. According to officials, she was caught while attempting to meet a potential ninth victim.
Sameera Fatima, reportedly a teacher by profession, is believed to have been operating alongside a gang to carry out these acts of fraud. Authorities stated that she specifically targeted wealthy, married men within the Muslim community, often using elaborate emotional manipulation tactics.
Used Social Media, Fake Stories to Lure Wealthy Men
The police investigation has revealed that Fatima used matrimonial websites and social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp to identify and approach her victims. Sharing fabricated stories about being a helpless divorcee with a child, she would gain their sympathy and trust before moving toward marriage.

Authorities noted that Fatima had previously managed to escape arrest by falsely claiming she was pregnant. However, her tactics came to an end on July 29, when she was apprehended at a tea shop in Nagpur.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to uncover the full scope of the fraud.
