Filmmaker Karan Johar on Saturday marked the 23rd anniversary of his favourite Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (K3G). He took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to the film, his second project after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
In his post, he included nostalgic behind-the-scenes photos featuring the movie’s star-studded lineup, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. These snapshots captured unforgettable moments from the set, highlighting the strong bond among the actors and crew during the film’s production.

Johar shared a heartfelt message, filled with thanks to the cast for believing in his ideas and to the audience for keeping the spirit of K3G vibrant. Taking to Instagram, Johar wrote, “23 years!!! Phew…truly one of those pinch me moments – right now & even back then…being on set with these legends!! It was my second film as a director and I think I was immensely fortunate that this magnanimous cast and the entire crew put in so much faith in me to deliver khushi & gham in abundance!☺️
The biggest shout out goes to the audience…the fans…our family – who continue to watch our film and recite every dialogue, dance on every song and keep this film alive in its truest sense…THANK YOU!❤️ 23 years of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”
