The comedy that once united India in laughter is now splitting headlines in controversy. What started as a creative disagreement between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal over Hera Pheri 3 has escalated into a full-blown legal war—complete with emotional exits, public drama, and now, a staggering ₹25 crore lawsuit.
According to insider sources, Akshay Kumar has officially sued co-star Paresh Rawal for abruptly quitting the film, claiming it caused massive financial and creative damage to the production. The legal notice, which cites “contractual breach and professional misconduct,” demands compensation of ₹25 crore from Rawal, sending shockwaves through the Bollywood fraternity.
The tipping point came during a fiery exchange where Akshay, frustrated over script rewrites and cast tensions, theatrically placed a briefcase of cash in front of Rawal, saying,
“If it’s just about money, take this and stay. Let’s not ruin what we built.”
Paresh Rawal, allegedly offended by the gesture, left the set immediately—and hasn’t returned since.

Suniel Shetty, the third pillar of the trio, has attempted mediation behind closed doors but to no avail. Now with court notices flying and production halted, the film’s future is in serious jeopardy.
Social media has exploded with divided opinions. Some fans stand with Akshay, calling his move “bold and necessary,” while others slam the lawsuit as “disrespectful” to a senior actor like Paresh Rawal. The once joyful nostalgia of Hera Pheri is now clouded by bitterness, betrayal, and broken trust.
What was meant to be a legacy sequel has turned into a legal circus. As Hera Pheri 3 drowns in drama off-screen, fans are left wondering—will we ever see Raju, Babu Bhaiya, and Shyam share the screen again? Or has the legendary laughter finally turned into the loudest silence in Bollywood history?
