On Monday, December 16, Radha Thakor, a 27 year old resident of Gujarat died by suicide. Before dying by suicide, Thakor left behind some recorded messages. Thakor owned a beauty parlour and stayed with her sister in Gujarat’s Palanpur after divorce.
In her recorded messages, Thakor apologized for her action towards her lover, pointing out that she was frustrated with the fights prevailing in her home.
The man, to whom she was apologising was anonymous. In one of the recorded calls which the police have accessed, Thakor seemed to be blackmailing the person saying, “See what happens if I don’t get the photo by 7 ‘o’ clock.”

In another recorded video, she was found apologizing, saying, “Forgive me, I am taking a wrong step without asking you. Don’t be sad, stay happy, enjoy life and get married. Don’t think that I have died by suicide. I apologise with folded hands. If you are happy, my soul will find peace. I am upset over work and life so I am taking this step.”
