In a shocking development that has stirred public outrage, several files from a Google Drive shared by 34-year-old techie Atul Subhash before his suicide have gone missing. The files that are no longer accessible include a 24-page suicide note and a letter titled “To Milords,” which criticized the justice system. Atul, who was found dead in his Bengaluru home last Monday, had accused his estranged wife Nikita and her family members of harassment, extortion, and cruelty in the lead-up to his death.

While law enforcement authorities have not commented on the missing files, the incident has sparked widespread speculation on social media, with many alleging a possible cover-up. Social media users have pointed to the disappearance as an attempt to erase critical evidence in the high-profile case, which has captured national attention. Some have also accused the authorities of pressuring Google to remove the files from the drive Atul had shared with open access. Neither the Bengaluru police nor Google have yet responded to these allegations.

The remaining files in the Google Drive include a poem titled Death Knows No Fear, a letter addressed to the President, and a declaration in which Atul claimed to be “not guilty” of the charges leveled against him by his wife. These files were part of the material he had shared, along with an 80-minute video where he recounted his lengthy legal battle.

Atul had made serious allegations against his estranged wife, Nikita, and her family, including her mother Nisha Singhania, brother Anurag Singhania, and uncle Sushil Singhania. He accused them of extorting him, using their four-year-old child to pressure him for money, and filing false cruelty cases against him. He also claimed that the court ordered him to pay ₹80,000 in monthly maintenance, but his wife demanded ₹2 lakh, which he could not afford.

In the wake of Atul’s tragic death, his brother Bikas Kumar has filed an abetment to suicide case. Nikita, her mother, and her brother were arrested in connection with the allegations and have been remanded to judicial custody for two weeks. Meanwhile, Atul’s uncle, Sushil Singhania, remains at large. Atul’s family has now called for the immediate return of his son, demanding clarity on his whereabouts.

The case continues to unfold, with questions surrounding the missing files and allegations of foul play intensifying.
