PM Modi’s US Visit and Meeting with Elon Musk
PM Modi, who arrived in Washington D.C. on Wednesday night, was welcomed by Musk, who also serves as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the Donald Trump administration. Musk was accompanied by three of his children—X, Strider, and Azure—during the interaction.
The meeting followed Musk’s discussions with US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. Modi was joined by External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar and India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, underscoring the diplomatic significance of the engagement.

Starlink’s Pending License Approval in India
According to reports from Reuters, one of the key topics of discussion was the pending approval for Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite-based internet service, to operate in India. Starlink has been seeking regulatory clearance to expand its presence in the Indian market, aiming to provide high-speed satellite internet to remote and underserved regions.
