The video of a woman dancing inside a Delhi Metro train has gone viral and sparked outrage among social media users. The clips show the woman, identified as Instagram user @manishadancer, twerking, belly dancing, and performing sensual dance moves in front of other passengers.

In one video, she is even seen kneeling on the Delhi metro floor. These videos, posted on her official Instagram handle, have drawn significant attention and criticism.

Social media users have widely condemned the woman’s actions, calling them a nuisance for other commuters and labeling her dance as “obscene.”

Many argue that such behaviour is inappropriate for a public transport like the Delhi Metro and have called for strict action against her. One user suggested, “I think the directives of @OfficialDMRC are not working. Can we introduce a penalty of Rs 10,000 per incident to the person shown in the video? This will stop this nonsense.”

Another said, “Sarvajanik jagh pe aayse karne wale pe rok hona chahiye (people engaging in such acts publicly should be stopped)”. A third said, “Metro per video banana ban hai iske upar kaarvayi kyon nahin ho rahi (there is a ban on making videos inside Metro trains, why is there no action on her).”

Notably, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has consistently requested commuters not to shoot videos inside the trains. Despite these directives, such incidents continue to occur, prompting calls for more stringent enforcement.

One user emphasized, “There are strict guidelines in metro premises about making reels. @OfficialDMRC should take strict action; people travel with family and kids in the metro. It’s not a place for such vulgar dance.”

As the debate rages on, the DMRC has yet to comment on the incident, leaving many waiting to see if any measures will be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future.
