A video, from Bengaluru, has appeared on social media following a series of videos that went viral online showing couples getting intimate in Delhi Metro coaches.
On X, a user posted a video of a young couple making a public show of affection close to the doors of Bengaluru metro train. Authorities were prompted to take action after the person who posted the video showed that the couple was kissing.
“Hey @OfficialBMRCL @NammaMetro_@BlrCityPolice, what happening in Namma metro, slowly Bangalore metro is turning into the Delhi metro. Take some action on them. The girl was kissing the boy,”
In the message attached to the video, the user requested to the Bengaluru police and Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to take legal action against them.

In response to the tweet, Bengaluru police noted the complaint. They wrote, “Noted, please provide your contact number via DM.”
In the meantime, the video is getting mixed reviews and becoming popular on social media. Some individuals questioned the concept of photographing the act without the couple’s consent, while others expressed anger and called for the need to maintain decency and respect for public places.

One user wrote, “Mind your own business. And don’t film without permission. Close your eyes if you don’t want to see people happy.”
Another user commented, ‘Security and officers should take action against such couples or whoever be.” Another user wrote, ‘Nothing wrong with young couple getting personal in public.” A fourth added, ”Action should be taken against filming without permission and posting it on social media without consent of involved.”
The tragedy has provoked a great deal of discussion and worry, but it has also brought attention to the importance of raising awareness and showing respect for public areas.
