In a major digital upgrade for train passengers across India, Indian Railways has launched the RailOne mobile app, a unified super app offering a wide range of train-related services on a single platform. Introduced by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during the 40th Foundation Day of CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems), the app aims to simplify and centralize services previously spread across multiple applications.
Available for Android and iOS, the RailOne app replaces and rebrands the earlier Swarail app, which was in pilot testing until now. The app brings together functionalities from apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTSonMobile, NTES, Rail Madad, and Food on Track, offering both reserved and unreserved ticket booking, live train tracking, and grievance redressal in one place.
