In a scene straight out of a superhero movie, a young couple dressed as Spiderman and Spider-Woman found themselves in a sticky situation when they were arrested for performing daring stunts on a motorcycle in South West Delhi’s Dwarka.
The duo, identified by the police as “Spiderman” Aditya, 20, and his friend “Spider-Woman” Anjali, 19, were apprehended while riding a bike with no number plate or mirrors, sparking both awe and concern among onlookers.
The adventurous escapade was not just confined to the streets of Delhi but was also documented on social media, adding a surreal twist to the tale. Aditya and Anjali recorded an Instagram reel titled “Spiderman Najafgarh Part 5,” showcasing their superhero personas in action.
The video captured the duo’s exhilarating ride through the bustling streets of Delhi, complete with daring stunts, poses for the camera, and even a spontaneous dance move or two.
This wasn’t the first time Aditya, also known as the “Najafgarh Spiderman,” had taken to the streets in his superhero attire. The 20-year-old resident of Najafgarh has cultivated a sizable online following through his Instagram account, Indian Spidey Official, where he shares videos of his daring exploits.
With a bio that reads “Your Friendly Neighbourhood Indian Spidey,” Aditya’s account boasts nearly 10,000 followers, with some of his videos garnering over 70,000 likes.
A glimpse into Aditya’s Instagram feed reveals a range of activities, from playing badminton to riding a tractor, all while dressed as Spiderman.
His unconventional brand of entertainment has also taken him to various events, including college fests, cosplay gatherings, and anime fan meetups, where he embraces his superhero persona with gusto.

Despite his penchant for donning the iconic red and blue costume, Aditya’s adventures extend beyond the realm of social media. He has made appearances at local schools, delighting students with his superhero antics, and even found himself in the audience of the prestigious National Film Awards, albeit without his signature attire.
While Aditya’s escapades may capture the imagination of his followers and provide moments of amusement, his recent run-in with the law serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers associated with reckless behavior on the road.
