1227 School Lecturers: In a significant step to uplift the teaching community and improve educational standards, the Chhattisgarh School Education Department has promoted 1,227 lecturers (T cadre) across multiple disciplines. The move follows the directives of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who has prioritised quick and transparent decisions to strengthen the state’s education sector.
The newly promoted lecturers span across subjects including Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, and Commerce. Their postings will be finalised through a counselling process to ensure balanced, merit-based deployment.
This fresh round of promotions reflects the government’s commitment to timely career advancement for teachers based on seniority, qualifications, and service record.
