The incident
In the viral video, several individuals, including the bishop, are seen entering the principal’s office and attempting to seize Solomon’s mobile phone. Parul Solomon is heard pleading to them not to touch her phone. Eventually, Solomon is forcibly removed from her chair, and the new principal, Sherlyn Massey, is seated amid applause from the staff.
Legal actions and controversy
Bishop Dan claims that Solomon’s removal was due to her involvement in the scandal. He also alleges that Parul Solomon embezzled Rs 2.4 crore during her tenure. Following the incident, Parul Solomon registered a case against the group for sexual abuse. Bishop Dan contends that video and CCTV footage show no physical contact, despite Parul Solomon’s claims.
