Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to step into a mystical new avatar in the upcoming folk thriller Vvan – Force of the Forest, sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra. The much-anticipated film is directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra and produced by Balaji Telefilms in collaboration with TVF Motion Pictures.
On Wednesday, the makers unveiled the first look of the film in a gripping Instagram post. The video offered fans a mysterious glimpse of Tamannaah’s character. While her face wasn’t revealed, the actress was seen in a vibrant red saree, running barefoot toward a dense forest. In a captivating moment, she lights a lamp and encounters a warning sign that reads, “Warning: Entering the forest after sunset isn’t allowed.”

The production house shared the post with a compelling caption that hints at the film’s mythological and historical themes.“Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forrest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Set in central India, Vvan explores stories inspired by ancient folklore and legends. A source close to the project revealed more details about Tamannaah’s preparation for the role.“Tamannaah is excited to step into the world of mythology, set in the central part of India. She will be undergoing a diction training with Sidharth Malhotra for her role in the film. Vvan will be shot in real locations, and the makers have already started the pre-production to identify the forest areas. A large chunk of this film is set in a forest,” the source told the publication.
The film marks a unique collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF Motion Pictures and is set to release in theatres during Chhath next year.
Tamannaah was last seen in Odela 2 and is currently filming Ranger alongside Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will next appear in Param Sundari opposite Janhvi Kapoor, scheduled to release on July 25, 2025.
