In a fiery press conference, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi dropped what he called an “H bomb” — a direct accusation of massive voter fraud in the Haryana Assembly elections held last year.
Gandhi alleged that 25 lakh votes were “stolen” in a state with two crore registered voters, claiming that one in every eight voters was fake.
“This means one in eight voters in Haryana are fake — 12.5 percent,” Gandhi said, accusing the Election Commission of aiding the ruling BJP.
Rahul Gandhi said that all exit polls had predicted a Congress victory, but the final results declared a BJP win, which he called “mathematically impossible” without manipulation.
He also cited a video clip of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, where Saini reportedly told reporters before counting that “arrangements have been made and BJP is winning the polls.”
“What were these arrangements?” Gandhi asked, holding up the video as “proof” of pre-decided results.
‘Brazilian Model in Haryana Voter List’
In a striking example, Gandhi displayed 22 entries in the Haryana voter list that featured the same photograph of a Brazilian model, Matheus Ferrero, sourced from a stock image website.
He said the identical photo appeared under multiple names — Sweety, Seema, Saraswati — suggesting a large-scale voter ID duplication.

“The Election Commission can remove duplicates in a second. Why don’t they? Because they are helping the BJP,” Gandhi claimed.
Sources within the Election Commission (EC), however, questioned the Congress party’s vigilance during polling.
“Polling agents are supposed to object if a voter’s identity seems doubtful or if someone has already voted,” an EC source said.
The source also asked if Rahul Gandhi supports the Special Intensive Revision drive, which aims to delete duplicate and outdated voter entries — including those who have died or relocated.
