Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a sharp attack on the RJD-Congress alliance, accused them of prioritising family-first politics over the welfare of the people. Speaking at a public rally in Siwan, Bihar, the Prime Minister launched a blistering critique against what he described as “parivaarvaad” (dynastic politics), contrasting it with his government’s motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (together with all, development for all).
“We say ‘Sabka saath, sabka vikas’ but the RJD and Congress believe in ‘parivaar ka saath, parivaar ka vikas’. Congress’s licence raj was responsible for poverty in India. While families of its leaders became rich, people remained poor,” he declared to loud applause.

pic.twitter.com/oyxxlLs1qW

PM Modi also emphasised that Dalit and backward communities were the biggest sufferers under the previous regimes. The remarks were seen as a counter to Tejashwi Yadav’s allegations about nepotism in Bihar’s current government.
‘People of Bihar Won’t Forgive Jungle Raj and Corruption’
Calling for an end to the cycle of poverty, lawlessness and migration, Modi said the RJD-Congress combine was responsible for Bihar’s underdevelopment, pointing to their rule as the cause behind mass migration and economic distress.
“The Congress and RJD are responsible for poverty and the migration of labourers from Bihar. The ‘panja’ (Congress symbol) and ‘lantern’ (RJD symbol) together have hurt the pride of Bihar,” PM Modi said, urging voters to remain vigilant in the upcoming elections.

Taking aim at Lalu Prasad Yadav over the alleged disrespect to BR Ambedkar’s portrait, he added, “RJD insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar. People of Bihar will never forgive its leaders.”
The rally also saw Modi highlight Rs 10,000 crore worth of development projects launched in Siwan, reinforcing the BJP-JD(U) alliance’s commitment to infrastructure and investment-led growth. This marked the Prime Minister’s fifth visit to Bihar in five months, signalling the importance of the state in the upcoming polls.
“Whenever they talk about development, people see locks hanging on shops, businesses, industries and trades… These people have been the nurturers of poor infrastructure, mafia raj, gunda raj, and corruption,” he said.
