Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed a new resident at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, — a calf named ‘Deepjyoti’.
In a heartfelt post on X (formerly known as Twitter), PM Modi shared the news, revealing that a cow at his residence recently gave birth to the calf.

The Prime Minister shared a video and photographs of himself spending time with the calf. He expressed the auspiciousness of the new arrival, stating, “It is said in our scriptures – ‘Gaavh Sarvasukh Pradaah’. A new member has auspiciously arrived at the Prime Minister’s residence premises at Lok Kalyan Marg.”
Describing the calf, he added, “The beloved mother cow has given birth to a new calf, on whose forehead there is a mark of light. Hence, I have named it ‘Deepjyoti’.” In another post, he further remarked, “A new member at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg! Deepjyoti is truly adorable.”
