A bizarre and mischievous incident at OP Jindal Global University has taken social media by storm after a student was caught trying to sneak a girl into the boys’ hostel inside a suitcase.

The incident reportedly took place recently and was captured on camera. In the now-viral video, hostel guards at the Sonipat-based university can be seen unzipping a large suitcase, only to be stunned when a girl emerges from it. The footage also shows a few students standing nearby, some laughing and recording the moment on their phones.

While the exact tip-off or method by which hostel guards discovered the stunt remains unclear, the act was quickly intercepted, preventing the plan from succeeding.
University Reacts: “Just Mischievous, Not a Big Deal”
When contacted by India Today, the university’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) downplayed the incident. “Our students were just being mischievous, and because our security is tight, the student was caught. It’s not a big deal. Our security is always strict, and no one has filed any sort of complaint regarding the matter,” the PRO stated.

Despite the light-hearted tone from the university’s end, the video has sparked mixed reactions online, with many questioning the security breach and the mindset behind the prank.
No Word on Disciplinary Action
As of now, the university has not issued an official statement on whether any disciplinary action will be taken against the students involved in the stunt. The administration maintains that their campus security remains strict, which helped them detect the act in time.
