Mumbra Train Accident | At least five people lost their lives after approximately 12 passengers reportedly fell from a moving express train near Mumbra railway station in Thane district, according to a statement issued by a Railways spokesperson.
The incident occurred as the Pushpak Express, en route from Mumbai to Lucknow, was passing through the Diva-Mumbra section. Sources indicated that the train was severely overcrowded at the time, with passengers standing on either side of the coach doors.
