Manoj Bajpayee is currently engrossed in the promotional activities for “Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout,” just ahead of its release.
Amidst the buzz surrounding his crime thriller, the actor shared his enthusiasm for his wife, actress Shabana Raza’s potential comeback to the silver screen. In a conversation with Zoom, Manoj Bajpayee expressed his eagerness to share the screen with Shabana Raza and revealed that he would love to collaborate with her on a project, provided the script comes from an external source, relieving him of production responsibilities.
He emphasized Shabana’s self-respect as an actor and his excitement for her comeback.
Manoj Bajpayee disclosed that Shabana Raza is currently reviewing scripts for potential projects and that her return to cinema is imminent. Shabana Raza, known for her roles in films like “Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet,” “Fiza,” “Kareeb,” “Rahul,” “Aatma,” and “Acid Factory,” among others, is eagerly anticipating her return to the big screen.
In the same interview, Manoj Bajpayee candidly shared how he often carries elements of his characters home, inadvertently integrating them into his daily life. Scenes from his films play in his mind even during mundane tasks, reflecting his dedication to his craft.
Manoj Bajpayee admitted to occasionally facing reprimands from his wife for not being fully present in the moment due to his preoccupation with upcoming scenes. For Bajpayee, acting transcends a mere profession, as he emphasized that it is not a job that one can simply switch on and off.
As for “Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout,” directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film is set to premiere on Zee5 on April 16. Bajpayee portrays the role of ACP Avinash Verma in the film, which also features Prachi Desai, Parul Gulati, Sahil Vaid, and Vaquar Shaikh in pivotal roles.
