Oscar-winning actor Juliette Binoche has been appointed as the jury head of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, marking a historic milestone. Binoche becomes the second woman to hold this prestigious position, following Barbie director and producer Greta Gerwig, who presided over the jury last year and awarded the Palme d’Or to Sean Baker’s acclaimed film Anora.
