A shocking CCTV video has emerged in the gruesome murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal, showing the accused, Sachin, allegedly carrying her body inside a black suitcase. The chilling footage, captured outside Narwal’s house in Rohtak, has been verified by the police.
Sachin was arrested by the Haryana Police on Monday.
CCTV Shows Accused Calmly Carrying Suitcase With Body
The footage, recorded on February 27, shows Sachin walking calmly down a street near Himani Narwal’s house, dragging the suitcase that contained her lifeless body. According to the police, Sachin used a mobile charger cord to strangle Narwal, stuffed her body into the suitcase, and later dumped it near a bus station in Rohtak.
The horrifying crime came to light on March 2, when the police discovered the abandoned suitcase containing Narwal’s body.
Accused Was Close to the Victim, Murdered Over Financial Dispute
Sachin, a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana, was arrested on Monday. He is said to have been a close friend of the Congress worker and often visited her home in Rohtak. The police suspect that the murder was motivated by a financial dispute between the two.
According to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) KK Rao, multiple police teams, including a Special Investigation Team (SIT), were formed to crack the case. “Identifying the victim was our first priority. Once we did, our teams swiftly traced and arrested the accused,” he said.
Sachin, who owns a mobile shop in Jhajjar, had reportedly been in touch with Himani Narwal through social media for over a year and a half. Investigators revealed that their argument escalated on February 27, ultimately leading to Sachin strangling her to death using a mobile charger cord.
“There was a monetary issue between them, but the exact details are still under investigation,” ADGP Rao added.

The Haryana Police are currently gathering more evidence, including forensic reports and Sachin’s call records, to build a strong case. Authorities are also investigating whether any additional persons were involved in the crime.
The brutal murder has sparked outrage among political circles, with demands for a speedy trial and strict punishment for the accused.
