Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with women legislators at the Jharkhand Assembly on Friday, extending his heartfelt wishes on International Women’s Day. During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the contributions of female ministers and legislators, stating that their presence in the Assembly strengthens the voice of women empowerment in the state.
Women’s Participation Key to Holistic Development
Emphasizing the importance of women’s involvement in governance and society, CM Soren said, “The comprehensive development of a country, state, or society is only possible with the active participation of half the population.” He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and welfare through initiatives like the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, aimed at strengthening women’s social and economic status.
CM Soren expressed pride in the achievements of Jharkhand’s women across various fields, including economics, politics, education, sports, and culture. “Women from Jharkhand have brought honor to the state through their hard work and talent. Our government is committed to supporting them in their journey towards success in every domain,” he said.
