Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday launched the “Abua Dishom Budget Portal and Mobile App” at the Jharkhand Secretariat, marking a significant step towards public participation in the preparation of the state budget for the financial year 2026–27. Through this digital initiative, experts as well as ordinary citizens will be able to submit their suggestions directly to the government.

Addressing the occasion, Chief Minister Soren said that the foundation of a strong state is built not only on schemes but also on active public participation. He emphasised that, guided by this belief, the state government is making continuous efforts to implement an inclusive budget by involving citizens in the budget-making process.
Best Three Suggestions to Be Honoured
The Chief Minister announced that citizens can submit their valuable suggestions related to the Jharkhand budget through the Abua Dishom Budget Portal and mobile app, as well as through social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and X, until January 17, 2026.
He highlighted that suggestions related to revenue enhancement received from the public can play an important role in strengthening the state economically. The government will honour the three best suggestions received during this process.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren also directed officials to ensure that the process of collecting public suggestions begins from November 15, so that participation from even the most remote areas of the state can be ensured in the formulation of the budget.
The launch event was attended by the Finance Minister, Chief Secretary, Secretary (Expenditure), Secretary (Resources), Special Secretary, and other senior officials.
